Getting around San Diego is made easier with plentiful public transit and highways. Trolleys, buses, Amtrak Metro link trains and light rail routes help residents and visitors travel around town and surrounding communities.

San Diego Unified School District is the second largest district in California, although it does not cover all of San Diego. Sports fans have many options, as well. From spring to early fall, residents and visitors can catch a home game at Petco Field featuring major league baseball team, the San Diego Padres. In the fall and winter, football fans can tailgate and watch a San Diego Chargers game at Qualcomm Stadium.
